Time rewinds 1 hour and 10 minutes

This was an anonymous submission. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had a similar experience.

First of all, I would prefer to stay anonymous. Second of all, I am not entirely sure if this counts as a time slip or not. I woke up at 3 in the morning, I simply needed to go to the bathroom. I went back to bed, and the next time I woke up it was about 1:50 in the morning. The only thing I can remember unusual is that I woke up saying something about diesel fuel or something like that.

  1. I had a similar experience last Oct. 21 where a discrepancy between the internet clock and outside clocks again happened. The internet clock says it is only 1:29am while the outside clocks says it is 2:29am...weird...

  2. had another experience again with the outside clocks showing 3:11am while my internet clock is showing 4:11am...really weird...
    date is 4/16/17.

  3. But they show the same time right afterward? Is there any other weirdness (lack of sound, strange feeeling) accompanying these experiences?

    1. Nope, has to adjust the internet clock to reflect the right time. And no other weirdness but for the time...

  4. Back in 2015 (It was August 15th to be exact), I had a time-slip in the middle of the night. I woke up at 4:20 as my dog started growling in our bedroom at something and woke me up. Later, I heard her out in the living room barking at something and I noted the time was 5:30 (ish). I remember thinking she was right on schedule as our alarms go off shortly after (5:50am). I feel back asleep and woke up to glance at the time and noticed the alarm said 3:21am.

I should also note, earlier that evening, my husband and I were outside watching the stars and noticed about 5 shooting stars. Three of which are what my family has called 'slow-movers'. We were also talking on the topic of UFOs while we were outside enjoying the evening. I understand there is a very real possibility that none of these events are connected, but it definitely makes you questions the strangeness of it.

    1. Very interesting! It does often seem that one anomaly is accompanied by another. Thank you for sharing

  5. It is amazing to read these, considering the similarity to an experience I had.
Take mine with a grain of salt, just in case I "hallucinated" the clock or was in a semi awake/dream state, which I am not so sure of.

It was customary for me to always glance at my alarm clock the moment I would wake up. I awoke and looked at the clock. It was around 6:43 or 6:44 (I don't remember for sure which of the two times), and I noticed the clock switch to the next time (i.e. from 6:43 to 6:44). This got me thinking about the idea of time going by and I thought of the idea of travelling through time. I then entered sleep paralysis (or did I just notice it for the first time then?) with the idea of going back in time, whilst looking at my bedroom window blinds. After the sleep paralysis was over, I looked at the clock again. The time was 6:18. Whoa...

    1. Yeah, i started a "time slip log #1" back in june of 2017. I have method for proving time slip in forward, for over a decade by this point, but no plausible, tangible method for backward time slip. But i had an experience in june that started log of activites to catch time. I had drawn a bath, picked my clothes, went to dryer, grabbed dry towlels and brought them to my room. Folded them all, took two, went to bathtub. Went to throw one on floor and one to dry off, and only had one white towel. Gold one i had was not there. So i went back to my room, and there all the towels and the gold one were unfolded in the laundry basket. I had put them all in a trash bag and tied them up to keep them fresh after i folded them all.... Wooh what a trip... And notice more and more things of the sort all the time... Every day almost now....

  6. Wow! Sleep paralysis seems to be a common factor in strange experiences. Thanks for sharing!

  8. If time passes by in Africa we will not post it on the internet ..It will be a tale to be heard and most likely forgotten...But we do experience time travel ..Ask us in our local language

  9. I have no doubt many of these experiences, probably some of the most incredible ones, go unreported.
